A company sourcing fee, when configured, is shown before a company responds and applies only if that company's quote is confirmed by the journalist as published; it does not buy or guarantee inclusion, favorable treatment, publication, or quotation. Any writer honorarium is separate and is not publication-contingent. No suitable regulated marketplace payment provider is verified for paid assignments, so PressHire does not offer assignment checkout, funding, custody, payment confirmation, refunds, dispute processing, milestone releases, or payouts. Processing charges and taxes are separate and are not included in this fee calculation.

How do fees work for editorial source requests?

Posting a request is free, and writers do not pay to respond. A company may owe a separate PressHire editorial sourcing fee only if its own quote is confirmed by the journalist as published. The amount is shown before a company responds; if no amount is configured, no fee can be charged. Any writer honorarium is separate and is not contingent on publication or quotation. No payment buys or guarantees editorial inclusion, favorable treatment, publication, or coverage.

Are marketplace payments or payment protections active?

No suitable regulated marketplace payment provider has been verified. PressHire does not offer checkout, funding, custody, payment confirmation, refunds, dispute processing, milestone releases, or payouts. Assignment and milestone records do not show funded status.

Are writers identity-verified by PressHire?

No. PressHire does not currently verify writer identity. Review the information a writer provides and agree on the work directly before proceeding.
